The PTP Camp was packed with immersive sessions covering the full spectrum of Petzl Professional solutions—from arbor work and ski lift evacuations to rope access and technical rescue. It was a chance to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and dive deep into evolving best practices.
One highlight? Petzl Jeopardy—a fun, fast-paced way to test knowledge and spark discussion on gear and techniques. (Yes, it was as educational as it was competitive!)
We’re thrilled to share that Capital Technical Rescue was named one of three winners in the Petzl Tech Tip Inventor competition. Our submission, titled:
“Pike & Pivot with Petzl Yolk Assembly”
…puts a fresh twist on the tried-and-true vertical Pike & Pivot method by integrating a Petzl Wire Strop assembly. This innovation streamlines rigging and transitions, and we’re honored that Petzl will develop it into a future Tech Tip.
